Windows 10, Core Temp gadget fails on HP Z17 workstation

Post by Naki »

On my other Desktop PCs, I am using same version of WIndows 10, plus 8GadgetPack for gadget support and all works fine.
Windows OS is Windows 10, Enterprise 64-bit, version 1803.
I have a laptop also, a HP Z17 Workstation laptop, so I tried to get gadget working there as well.
It is failing with this error, attached. Other gadgets such as Clock, Calendar/etc are working fine, just Core Temp gadget does not.

Any ideas why and how to fix, please? :)
